The best courts in the area and bi-weekly AVPNext tournaments  often attract some of the best competition in the SouthEast. However, Nashville Beach offers tournaments and pick-up games for all skill levels.

While the play is good, the facilities are even better. Nashville Beach features three tournament-grade sand courts, a deck, an oasis-style pool, and tiki hut.

Nashville Beach 2006 AVPNext Summer Double's Series Tournament

New Date! September 13th BOO KOO 600

The BooKoo 600 - Coed 4's tournament on Saturday, September 13th Hence the title, this a $600 dollar tournament in which $400 will be paid to first place and $200 will be paid to second place.

Cost will be $20/Nashville Beach Members and $25/Non Beach Members.

The format will be Coed 4's – 2 guys and 2 girls. For those not playing in the Open Division, there will be a A/BB division that will play for prizes. Sign Up for Everyone at 8:30 and Play will begin at 9:00. This will be a long fun day using both facilities - The Wave Country and Nashville Beach. It's important that you pre-register your team with Roman (615) 876-0411 or e-mail at beachresearch@yahoo.com by Thursday August 07th so he can let you know where your team will be playing in advance of the tournament. It's to be decided by the Tournament Director (Roman) where the finals will be played!

Pool play will be played twice, 1) normal coed and 2) reverse coed - both on short court! Expect long rallies!! For those who haven't played reverse coed before, the net will be lowered to the ladies' net height and only the ladies will be allowed to hit and block with the guys having to hit behind a 15-foot line which will be marked on the out-of-bounds line and enforced by the referee. After pool play is complete, the format for the play-offs and finals will be decided by the team with the most positive points in pool play.

This tournament idea has received a lot of interest and it's expected that a lot of out of town teams from FL, GA, AL, Memphis, Little Rock, and OH will be coming into Nashville for this one!

If you have any questions or want to sign up your teams for any of the upcoming tournaments, again, please call or contact Roman.
